BNB is the direct exchange-token read on Binance's confirmed hot-wallet security incident. Co-CEO Richard Teng said Friday the investigation found additional breach points beyond a compromised DevOps laptop, and the exchange is targeting a Sunday restart of withdrawals after rebuilding and testing infrastructure. Binance pledged to cover user losses through SAFU and company funds, said it has reserved matching inventory in the affected tokens, and is buying remaining assets through market and over-the-counter trades.
