Injective signed a memorandum of understanding with South Korean custodian BDACS to position KRW1, a won-backed stablecoin, as the exclusive won-denominated settlement asset for real-world assets on the network. Minting and redemption remain limited to approved institutions and subject to Korea's Digital Asset Basic Act, still aimed at year-end. That sits on top of Injective Institutional Services already holding SEC transfer-agent registration and CFTC-regulated INJ futures, with three US exchange-traded fund applications still the listed-access overlay.
