How the Week Could Play Out
Three scenarios frame the docket, not a recommendation. In a clean-beat path, Meta holds the capex guide and Tesla holds auto margin. Friday's PMIs then trade as data, with October 28 still a hold at about 14 to 15 percent odds. In a capex-scare path, a Meta spend raise or a Tesla margin break would extend last week's AI unwind overnight. In a hot-data path, UK core at 2.9 percent or a US flash composite still at 58 would bounce those October odds off the mid-teens inside blackout. Traders watching 7,659.44 as the cash reference and 7,766 as the futures reference. Bullish trigger: a reclaim of Friday's 7,669.66 toward Thursday's 7,744.06. Bearish trigger: a slide through Friday's 7,631.77 low. For Bitcoin, a hold of 82,737 dollars then about 82,780 is the bullish trigger; a slip through about 80,615, then Thursday's 79,800, is the bearish one. These are observations, not instructions.
- A Meta capex hold plus a Tesla margin hold would let Friday's PMIs trade as data into October 28
- A Meta spend raise or a Tesla margin break would extend the Nasdaq fade into Friday
- S&P bullish trigger: reclaim 7,669.66 then 7,744.06. Bearish: a slide through 7,631.77
